Recycled raw materials

Since 1995, we have used recycled raw materials as much as possible in our production processes. We work with recycling companies that make granulate from household waste. All our production waste is completely recycled as the basis for new products. This allows us to guarantee that we work with 100% recycled polyethylene raw materials as the basis of our construction buckets, mortar pits and bins.

We also develop equivalent products that require less raw materials. The buckets, tubs and bins in our Gripline Durable series are as strong as traditional buckets, but produced with 20% less plastics. As a result, we saved as much as 544,000 kilos of raw materials in 2021.

CIRCULAR CONSTRUCTION

Since 2014, all our buckets, tubs and bins have carried the German eco-label Der Blaue Engel, because they are less environmentally damaging than similar products. In 2019, we started Cradle to Cradle certification for several products and brands. Now we are the only one in Europe to supply a range of EPDM products for roof & facade that are C2C-certified. When our recycled range of construction buckets, mortar tubs and bins also bear the C2C hallmark later this year, we will investigate how we can also produce our (technical) films in a fully circular way.
